| Job Description |

Our client is a leading nationwide fostering organisation with an outstanding quality history within this sector, they are now looking for a Social Worker covering Essex, Hertfordshire.
Job Role:
You will need to be a qualified Social Worker with supervisory/management experience along with 3 years family placement experience. If you have experience as a trainer including assessing this would be preferred.

Qualifications & personal attributes:
• Train and support a group of agency foster carers
• DipSW or CQSW (including GSCC Registration) required
• Significant child care experience
• Experience in family placement work, at least 3 years
• Supervisory management experience within a social work setting.
• Good working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and guidance
• Organised and methodical approach
• Good written and oral communications skills
• The ability to work some unsociable hours
• Driving licence
• Use of car for work
Benefits:
• Salary: £22,000 - £28,000
• Restricted case load
• Supportive team with regular supervision
• 37 hour week
